Our clinic was founded by Nora Van Dalen, a Nurse Practitioner embarking on a new phase in her nursing career by offering high-quality, quick, and effective health services. Health Hub is created to share with the community a fresh and new approach to health services focused on helping you achieve your health and wellness goals.
 

Our approach is designed for anyone who wants to be knowledgeable about their health and feel confident about how their body is functioning. We provide the technical services and education needed to help people achieve optimal health. Our high-quality care starts with listening to your individual health objectives and needs, along with sharing our professional experiences. Our experienced team is dedicated to providing personalized solutions to help you maximize your potential.

 

About Our Founder

Nora Van Dalen NP/Primary Health Care, MSc (Nurse Practitioner), BScN. 

 

Nora holds certification as a Respiratory Educator and holds memberships with the Canadian Consortium for the Investigation of Cannabinoids, the North American Menopause Society, the American College of Sports Medicine, the Nurse Practitioner Association of Ontario, and the Registered Nurse Association of Ontario.

 

Her diverse clinical expertise includes global research in palliative care nursing which included a one-year placement in China; critical care nursing at St. Michael’s hospital, emergency room nursing with Trillium Health Partners; and leading a pilot project to implement a home visiting nurse practitioner program in Burlington with CCAC.

  

Nora has led with courage, integrity, and compassion as a strong advocate for health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management.

In 2023 Nora transitioned to private practice to fully immerse herself in providing high-quality care focused on health promotion and prevention of serious diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and stroke.

Nurse Practitioners in Ontario can assess, diagnose, treat, and monitor a wide range of health problems using an evidence-based approach to their practice. Nora consults and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to meet the needs of her patient population.  Nora has a strong philosophy and practice of engaging with her patients as full partners in their care with attention to self-care to the extent that patients are willing and able to participate in their health journey.
